We had the honor of throwing my mother in laws birthday this day! I don’t actually know her age bc she won’t tell me, but we will say she’s turning the big 4-0! 😉
I wore this body suit from Charlotte Russe, that I didn’t end up loving. The back was so low that my bra kept popping out, and to be honest for tall girl like myself it really felt uncomfortably short if you know what I mean! It’s so cute to look at but not easy to wear. Probably should stay away from Charlotte Russe-I don’t think their target customer is a 33 year old mom of three! 😂
I want to love body suits but it’s just hard when you’re tall! I still love my AE jeans and these booties from DSW are a great way to transition from summer to fall!
(Just ignore that huge pile of toys in the background 🙈)
Body Suit- Charlotte Russe
Speaking of changing seasons..August is a month where I find it hard to be excited by fashion. I LOVE fall clothing-that is my jam! In stores currently it’s summer clearance sales and It’s way too hot to break out fall pieces yet..anyone else feel the same?!
This evening I hosted a girls night in! It was really fun and we all got to chat sans our small kiddos..well mine kept getting out of bed, but everyone else did!
I wore my black jumpsuit from TJ Maxx Bc it’s sooo comfy but looks like I tried 😉
Jumpsuit- TJ Maxx
This evening we had a work event for my husband at an art museum. I wore this dress from Top shop which was once again orange! I’m not normally an orange girl so it’s funny that I’ve worn it so much lately! It is a midi length and has a high neck for a classier look! I paired it withy Nine West wedges bc they are just super easy to walk in!
Dress- Top Shop
Shoes- Nine West
Bracelet- Kate Spade
Saturday we just ran some errands and did some furniture shopping! I just wanted to be comfortable!
I wore my lululemon leggings, target top and my lace up vans!
These sunglasses I found at the Saks outlet store and I love them! They are Michael Kors oversized mirrored aviators. They have a tortoise pattern on the rim and sides. I like them just as much or more than my mirrored Ray-Bans and they were much cheaper!
Glasses- Michael Kors
Hope you had a great weekend!
Maxi dresses were all that I wore when pregnant with my three kids. So when I had my last baby, I donated ALL of them. They were all too big and brought back horrible memories of nausea and pain!
I found this high low maxi dress in the back of my closet. I must have decided to keep this one around and I’m glad I did!
For some reason everywhere I went that day I got a lot of compliments on it and the color! So funny considering I hate wearing dresses like this due to bad memories! I paired it with a long necklace from Forever, and my sandals from Target.
Dress- Old Navy
I must say I’ve worn this dress a couple more times since and I can see why I like it. It makes you look put together when really it’s super comfy and you can still bend over to pick up the kiddos!
This day I had a bunch of errands to run with the kiddos! I wore jeans that I cuffed up, a loose fitting gray t-shirt tied up and my addidas.
Very simple outfit for a cooler day outside during the summer! These target t-shirts are my absolute favorite! Buy them in an XL, so you can wear them tied up like below!
My husband had his high school reunion this weekend and it was very fun/entertaining!
I never wear orange but I found this bright dress on Asos for pretty cheap! I wasn’t sure if the fabric would be too thin, but it was pretty good quality and I ended up really liking this color!
The bag and shoes are from Target! 👯
I like that it was flirty but still keeping it classy with the length. Gold jewelry goes great with orange and my purse was a fun pattern to make it more interesting! Asos again for the dress win!
